     Two events in my lifetime altered history and are indelibly etched in the psyche of Americans.  These events are the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the attacks of 911.

     Both events traumatized the people of the United States. Neither event was properly investigated by the Federal government or examined properly by the establishment media.  Both events dramatically altered the direction and history, not only of the United States, but of the world.  It could be argued that both events appear to contain major elements of cover -up and black operations. As there is no statute of limitation on the crime of murder, both crimes deserve a special prosecutor to conduct an objective, complete and thorough investigation supported by Congress, with full subpoena powers to examine the evidence, call witnesses and ascertain the truth.  

     Unless the United States citizens overcome their fear and complacency and confront these events head on with a determination to understand what happened and why, their character and self image may be forever distorted and tortured. They may forever look at themselves in a cracked mirror. They may forever know they are not free, but manipulated and abused servants of unknown forces.

      In the mid nineties, I attended an indoor event in Washington, D.C.  One of the featured speakers was Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty, U.S.A.F.  Col. Prouty had been a liaison between the CIA and the Air Force, and was responsible for the parade route of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas.  Shortly before Kennedy was to arrive in Dallas, Col. Prouty was called in by members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and given a rest- and- relaxation trip to the South Pole where he was to make presentations.  On his return from the South Pole, while in Christchurch, New Zealand he read about the assassination of the President for the first time. In the newspapers, he saw pictures of the parade route, and he could see that some windows were down, when they all should have been closed.  He also read that the military was told to stand down, instead of standing up, even when he knew that there had been rumors of brewing assassination plans in Texas on the President.  He saw a picture of the alleged assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald and a reference in his biography involving a deployment in Japan which indicated to him some connection with CIA.  On returning back to the USA, a few days later he was doing his own research to understand what had just transpired.  At that time, he realized that when he was reading the newspaper article in Christchurch on the other side of the world and across the International Date Line about Oswald, the people of the United States had not yet been given the details about Oswald.  Col. Prouty then realized that the assassination was a black op. When a black operation is employed, a cover story is created before hand.  The cover story is sent out to”reliable” news agencies at the proper moment throughout the world.  The cover story then becomes the history, a fait accompli. Col. Prouty knew this to be the case because he himself had participated in black op projects in South America.  Upon his retirement, Col. Prouty had become the Chief of Special Operations (clandestine activities) with the U.S. Joint Chief of Staff.

     In the movie, “JFK”, by Oliver Stone, Col. Fletcher Prouty is played by actor Donald Sutherland, who is called Mr.X. The District Attorney of New Orleans, Jim Garrison, who was courageously investigating the murder of JFK while being obstructed and spied on by the federal government was played by actor Kevin Costner.  There is a dramatic scene in the movie where the two meet on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, and discuss the conspiracy responsible for killing the President.

     I met with Col. Prouty alone after his address and spoke to him for about 10 minutes.  He autographed for me his book, “The Secret Team”.  I asked him about the accuracy of the movie pertaining to the scene at the Lincoln Memorial.  He said that the communication between Jim Garrison and himself did not happen there, as portrayed in the movie, but the substance of their conversation included in the movie was accurate.  He also confirmed, upon my questioning, the newspaper article being printed in New Zealand acknowledging Oswald as the assassin and his biography before the United States public was informed about him.

     So there you have it.  A man who became head of Special Operations for the United States military went public about complicity of government operations in the killing of the President of the United States. Col. Prouty said that “An extremely powerful group within the United States government set up the objective of killing Kennedy to control the direction of government…no question about it in looking back.”

   If the assassination of JFK was a coup de etat, as some researchers have suggested, then what was 911?

     There are a myriad of questions to ask and answer about 911.  Here are only a few.

1.  How could Building #7, a 47 story skyscraper located in the Twin Tower complex collapse, on its own when it was never struck by an airplane?

2.  Why were large amounts of nano thermite, a plastic explosive agent, found in the dust debris of the Twin Towers?

3.  How could an airplane known to have been hijacked, and while the United States is under attack, enter Washington D.C. air space, the most protected air space in the world, protected by the most powerful military in the world and crash into the Pentagon, unless the military was told to stand down?

4.  How could numerous eye witnesses who heard and saw explosions in the Twin Towers be discounted?

5.  How could the Twin Towers collapse at freefall speed unless the bottom was taken out from under it by controlled demolition?

6.  How could the basement area of the Twin Towers have molten steel and temperatures, weeks later, hotter than temperatures assumed to have been burning at the top of the Twin Towers, before their collapse unless plastic explosives were used?

7. How could the Twin Towers collapse from the melting of steel caused by jet engine fuel when that fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel?

8. How could the Twin Towers collapse when a steel skyscraper caught in a fire has never before collapsed, although, on this day three steel skyscrapers collapsed?

9.  How could four commercial airliners which were known to have been hijacked, and not one of them was intercepted by US jets when its is the policy of the US Air Force and the US government to make an interception under the conditions that were presenting themselves?

10.  How could a paper passport of one of the alleged hijackers be found on a pile of debris at Ground Zero intact, when everyone and everything else was destroyed, unless it was planted similarly to the pristine bullet found on a stretcher in the Kennedy assassination?

11.  What happened to the black boxes in the airplanes?

12.  Why are there hundreds of engineers and architects who do not believe the official government (cover)  story of how the buildings collapsed?

13. Why was the homicide scene of over 2,000 citizens not protected so that the proper forensic studies could be done to ascertain the causes and nature of the crime, unless there was something to cover up by immediately removing the debris to five separate landfill sites?

14. What was really behind the anthrax attacks made on the offices of Democrat Congressmen Tom Daschle and Patrick Leahy who were trying to slow down the rush to pass the Patriot Act, which greatly increased government authority and greatly curtailed individual constitutional rights?

15.  What was really behind the death in a small airplane crash, of Minnesota U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone, who was opposed to a war in Iraq, up for re-election, and the deciding vote on which party controlled the United State Senate?

16.  Why were 85 video tapes of the crash into the Pentagon confiscated from local businesses by the FBI and never released to the public?

17. Why were war games in progress over the United States, simulating similar actions which were  actuiallyhappening ?

18.  Why were members of the Bin Laden family given quick escort by airplane out of the country and back to Saudi Arabia ,when all air travel was supposed to be shut down, and while Osama Bin Laden was the alleged mastermind of the attacks?

19.  Why should the U.S. government appear to be so inept and unprepared to deal with the attacks when they were warned of impending attacks by Germany, Russia, Israel and other countries immediately before the attacks happened?

20. Why was Iraq attacked and destroyed when there was no evidence connecting Iraq to the 911 attacks and no weapons of mass destruction?

21. Why was there a 600%-1,200% push option increase above normal stock trading in the stocks of United and American airlines in the days immediately preceding the 911 attacks,  ( A push option is a bet that stock will go down)?

     Col. Prouty said in his book, “The Secret Team”, published in 1990, that the Secret Team was the driving force of the intensity of the cold war.  They controlled secrecy and secret intelligence and operated under a canopy of an ever present enemy called “Communism”

     Col. Prouty died in June 2001, three months before 911.  Does the secret team now operate under the canopy of a new enemy they helped create ,not “communism”, but now “terrorism”?

      Prouty describes the Secret Team ,  “… It is the evidence of a form of new religion,  It has its secrets.  It has its divine and unquestioned rights and obligations.  It has self-rightous power over life and death.  It does not believe in anything.  It is utterly ruthless…” 

     Col. Prouty concludes in his book that, “There is but one way to control this massive Secret Team structure.  It must be uncovered.  It must be made known.  It must be exposed to light.  And then it must be told ‘No’.  To be effective , this means that Congress must cut its money off, not only at the central source, but all of the hidden nerve centers.  Before its too late, we, Americans must realize that this great cancer exists.  Thus the Secret Team must be exposed, bared, and silenced.  Then a new and better way of life must be created.”

     Americans can go about their lives lost in their distractions, their gadgets, their computers, their televisions,movies, sports and their recreations, and continue to watch their greatness fade and their standard of living erode.  Until a thorough, complete and objective investigation is done, Americans do not know who was responsible for 911.  They do not know if there were 19 Muslim terrorists.  If there were 19 Muslim terrorists, they don’t know who trained them and financed them, or brainwashed them.  They do not know anything other than what the government and its controlled media wants them to know.  That means they are misinformed, and uneducated. They don’t know if parts of their government orchestrated the event.  They don’t know if  a secret organization was involved or whether it was involved in both crimes, the assassination of JFK and the 911 attacks.  The people do not know. 

     One would think that a mentally and spiritually healthy human being would want to know.

     This they do know.  Both events resulted in wars, the Viet Nam War and the Iraq War.  History was altered.  Certain banks, corporations, special interests and individuals profited enormously. Government power has increased in the name of fighting terrorism.  Civil rights have been greatly diminished.  Americans looked in the mirror. Has their innocence been shattered?   Is their smile now crooked? 

      Unless they confront their fear and complacency and regain the American spirit and pride which gave birth to the nation and  which they seem to have deserted, Americans may never be a free people or the United States a free and sovereign nation.  Forever, they may be looking into a cracked mirror.
